the daughter of Mr. WILL: STONE
by MARTHA his wife widdow and
Relict of Mr. CHRISTOPHER LOFT
all late of this town deceased By whom
She had nine children two of which are
only living (to wit) MARY the wife of
EDWARD STRACEY of ye City of Lon
don, gent. and MR CHARLES LOFT of this
town brewer all (sic) whose joynt charge this stone
is laid to perpetuate her memory who Consi
dered ether as a daughter sister wife or
Mother was adorned with every virtue
which perticularey (sic) belonged to each of those
Relations and through the whole course of
her life was Servicable to her friends and
neighbours as well as Charitable to the poor.
She departed this life 27 July 1701
in ye 61st year of her age.
