Aligned vertical on east wall of tower
Lettering at top of slab
Faint traces of incised floral design, top and bottom, now quite worn
Condition fair, all lettering legible, the eulogy at the end is very faint. No cracks. Moderate chipping and wear at the edges.
Black traces still visible of bitumen adhesive for the parquet flooring blocks
This slab was until 1963 situated in the centre of the chancel floor when it was placed on the tower wall. This because damp rising from it decayed the floors carpets.
