Lettering on top two-thirds of the stone under a decorative scroll across the width of the stone. Another scroll is engraved under ‘AGED 32’ and above ‘Alfo of Mary his Wife’
Upper and lowercase. ‘Alfo’ rather than ‘Also’. The number ‘1’ in ’11th day’ and ‘1743’ have tails like ‘Js’.
