A cream unglazed tile with a brown border, inset into the floor. Within a central stylised barbed quatrefoil, with a brown border, is a red Latin cross centred above 8 lines of centred red and black u/c and l/c script in flourished Gothic and Old English lettering.
All u/c letters are red and superscript letters are underlined. On each side of the text in line 2 is a 10 cm horizontal scroll frieze. At each corner of the tile is a brown fleur-de-lys, inside brown and tan borders which follow the lines of the outside edges and the quatrefoil. There are small signs of damage along all 4 sides and large chips on the bottom and top edges and top right corner. A vertical crack extends from both the top and bottom edges and the surface is pitted.
