Condition of brass is good; the stone is worn

There is relief decoration at the base of the stone which appears, it is believed, to be a stepped base and part of a shaft.
Condition poor with cracks across the top left hand corner and the centre

fragrant wife, only daughter and heiress
of William Gelsthorp, gentleman,
died the 2nd day of April, the 27th year of age, the year of Christ 1680 and also Anna of aforesaid Dunham Bird daughter of the wife, died the 16th day of March year of our Lord 1680.
